Effective date: January 1, 2025 · Last updated: March 1, 2025

Kanvamo ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use our services.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, fill out a form, or contact support. This includes your name, email address, password, and any content you add to your workspace.

We also automatically collect certain information when you use Kanvamo, including log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), device information, and usage data such as features used and actions taken within the product.

We may receive information about you from third parties, such as when you sign in with Google or Apple.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve Kanvamo; process transactions and send related information; send technical notices, updates, and support messages; respond to your comments and questions; and send marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time).

We also use your data to monitor and analyze trends and usage, detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who assist in our operations (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics). • Business partners with your consent. • Law enforcement or other parties when required by law or to protect our rights. • Acquirers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to you.

4. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. This includes encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

6. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve Kanvamo. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; restrict or object to certain processing; and request data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@kanvamo.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. International transfers

Kanvamo is operated from the European Union and the United States. If you are located outside these regions, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws. We apply appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a prominent notice in the product. Your continued use of Kanvamo after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
